Please find below the set of rules and regulations guarding you and your child with respect to his/her admission into Ikramullah Islamic Academy, Ibadan. You are advised to read, interpret and clearly understand each item on the document before you make payment and sign the acceptance letter attached to the Admission letter of your child/ward.

Rules & Regulations

  1. The school closes its entrance gate 7.45 a.m daily and after which no child is allowed into the school again for that day. Hence, any child that comes thereafter is returned home.

Once the gate is closed, any parent that leaves his/her child outside the gate does so at

his/her risk.

  1. All scholars must appear in their complete, correct and neat uniforms at all times otherwise

he/she shall be sent home and punished. Any cardigan different from that of the school can only be worn under the uniform.

  1. Any parent who wishes to buy additional uniform for his or her child should get it through the

School, any uniform different from that of the school is not accepted.

  1. Every pupil must have his/her complete set of learning materials as stipulated at the end of each academic session latest by the end of the first week of resumption in first term.

Failure to do so, such a pupil would be asked to stay at home until he obtains his/her learning materials.

  1. All male scholars must tuck in their shirts and wear their caps while female scholars must wear their Hijabs while coming to the school.
  2. All scholars must wear black sandal/shoes plus white socks while in uniform and white canvass plus white socks while in sport wear only. Anything different shall be seized in the school.
  3. Every scholar is expected to appear in their best and Islamic attires on Friday.
  4. Every scholar must have a school bag for his/her learning materials 

and assignment books.

9.  Every scholar is expected to have a lunch box for snacks and not just any type of plastic rubber.

  1. All scholars must communicate in English or Arabic as the case may be. In addition, parents are discouraged from communicating with their children in vernacular within the school premises.
  2. Parents should ensure that their children’s home works are intact in their bag (when given) before coming to school.
  3. All fees must be paid through the school’s bank account. The school fees should be paid within the first two weeks of resumption every term, otherwise the child shall be asked to stay off the school until he/she is paid for.
  4. All meetings and programmes should be attended by all parents.
  5. No scholar should be absent from the school without a very genuine reason that can be supported with evidence. The management must be notified in case of any unavoidable circumstance.
  6. Any scholar that causes damage to any of the school’s property shall be made to replace it or held responsible for its financial implications.
  7. Parents are not allowed to pay visit to their children in the class. Any parent that wishes to see his child or his/her teacher during the school hour should seek permission from the management. Such a child shall be invited outside the class for him/her.
  8. No scholar should use lipsticks, dangling earrings or any unnecessary decoration like ‘lalle’ while coming to the school. Such attempts attract punishment.
  9. Any scholar that is not picked within 30 minutes after the closing time shall be liable to a stipulated fine as the management may determine from time to time.

19. Every scholar must meet up with at least 50% of the total assessment score for his class and at least 85% of the total attendance for a term to be qualified for promotion to the next class.
