Asalamu alaekum warahamatullahi
Introduction:
Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim, all praises and adorations belong to Almighty Allah. We invoke his blessings and mercy upon the noble soul of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., his household, companions and everyone who follows his path from now till the day of reckoning.
It is an opportune moment to relate with you as we round off the term. Indeed, we acknowledge your unflinching and unalloyed supports for our institution. We pray that Allah reward you all in abundance.
- TO ALL OUR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS WE SAY RAMADAN MUBARAQ.
As we have always said, we remain committed to our mission statement to discharge our responsibilities towards making our schools a blueprint for others.
By Allah’s mercy we have closed officially for second term this session (2023/2024). Upon this, we wish to keep you abreast of the state of our activities so far.
- Closing Time:
It is important to inform you that the adjusted closing time to 4pm instead of the usual 5:00pm as a result of Ramadan fast will be reverted by next term.
- Teaching and Learning:
Our focus for an exceptional academic standard has not changed. We have therefore put some measures in place to bring out the expected results in our students. These measures, some extant and some new, include:
- The Morning Drill:
This is an all-time special class meant to enhance our scholars who require more time to get new concepts. The classes start by 7:35am before the start of the day’s work. This has been of immense assistance to them (the more time learners).
- Islamiyah:
As we all know, our Islamic school has been taking adequate care of our students’ Islamic knowledge development. Our scholars have been taken through the finest method of training both in Islamic and Qur’an memorization. This manifested in the annual Musabaqah held in the course of the term.
- EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: To be able to groom students with broader horizons, we have carefully crafted some perennial co-curricular activities for our scholars, such as spelling competition, mathematics quizzes, current affairs and civic programmes.
- SPORTS: Sports have been taken very seriously by the school, so we have always had our routine sports activities and by extension, the martial arts training-Taekwondo.
- CELEBRATED EVENTS: During the term, our scholars attended a mathematics competition where they came top at local government level and came third and fourth at the zonal level. Also in the term, the school organized a Qur’an competition in which our representative towered above other competitors in their category. Alhamdulillah.
- CHALLENGES: As observed in the course of our operation for the term, the school experienced the following challenges from scholars.
—- Late coming:
The key clog in the wheel of our activities, especially the morning drill, is LATE COMING. As much as we appreciate parents for the adjustment in the arrival of their children to school; we believe they still do better by next term.
—- Lack of home supports: Many of our scholars have not been forthcoming with their take homes. On many occasions they returned to school after terminal holidays, public holidays or weekends without doing the work given to them. Parents need to do their bids by assisting their children to enhance whatever they have been taught in the school.
—- Protocols breach: Some parents are still in the habit of breaching the protocols for meeting their children or teachers in the school. We urge them to check this for personality sake.
—- Scholars’ appearance: We wish to appreciate parents for their compliance with the calls for better appearances of their children. We appeal to other parents who are yet to comply to do so.
SCHOOL FEES:
Kindly note that scholars’ school fees is the main tool for the smooth running of school activities, we always find it difficult denying any scholar of entrance in to the school whenever he or she defaults.
On this, parents are enjoined to make prompt payment of their children’s school fee. May Allah enrich us and make our affairs easy.

Conclusion
At this point we really appreciate every one of you for your all-time supports for the school. We take responsibility with a view to correcting any itch experienced in the course of the term. Indeed the series of holidays that the term was fraught with actually hindered some our action plans. We hope to cover for the lost times in the course of the coming term.
We also appeal to parents/guardians to always meet the school midway whenever we call or you deem it necessary.
We humbly request that you do not hesitate to call our attention to our shortcomings and always remember to give us the thumbs up whenever we meet your expectations.
Once again, we express our profound gratitude for your supports, we promise never to let you down and with our joint efforts we are surely going to get to the promise land.
Jazaka Lahu khaeran.
